Welcome to Minne Lusa Elementary, Home of the Panthers!

I am so excited to be back home with the best students, staff, and community in the city! I attended Minne Lusa as a student and began my teaching career as a Panther so being able to now serve as the principal for Minne Lusa Elementary is very humbling. I attended McMillan Magnet Center and am a proud Viking alum from Omaha North and my parents still reside just a few blocks from the school - so I am quite literally coming home!

We have the best staff in the city and we welcome you to our fantastic neighborhood! We prioritize three things at Minne Lusa - Academics, Attendance, and Safety. Everything we do is to ensure your children are prepared for their next adventures in life and to be college, career, and civic ready.

If there is anything you need to help ensure the success of your children at Minne Lusa, please do not hesitate to connect with me. We will host monthly Parent Engagement meetings and host many events that we will want you to be a part of - we are a team in helping your child grow!
