Meet Chief, Minne Lusa's new therapy dog! Chief has completed all levels of the required training needed to become part of our school community.
Chief spends his days at Minne Lusa working with students who are experiencing stress, trauma, or need a cool down time. Chief is even helping us raise student achievement by letting students read aloud to him to practice their fluency! Chief has gotten to know the office, and ventures to the Principal's office for a milk bone that he has sniffed out. Carrots are Chief's personal favorite for a snack! We are very excited to welcome Chief to our school.
